I’ve officially decided to sign with a new publisher for Taking Chances. My first novel will be republished by Forever Morris Publishing, a new publisher out of the East Coast. I’m very excited to work with them as they are, like me, an up-and-comer in the writing and publishing world. On top of that, the CEO is also a writer who knows the struggles of publishing and marketing for new virtually unknown writers.
I signed the author contract last week and am looking forward to having Taking Chances get new exposure and to be part of a publishing house. It’s every author’s dream to be signed on with a publisher and to have their work out in the world. Forever Morris will be taking over the marketing of my book and I will hopefully be with them for when my second novel comes out.
One of the things I like about FMP is the CEO, Sara, genuinely enjoys my writing! It’s one thing when a publishing house just wants to sell your book in the hopes that they can profit from it. It’s another when they believe in your writing and love your style. Sara read TC and gave it an amazing review on Amazon before I had even signed on with her. She loved the story and when I sent her what I had for Frigid Nights, she couldn’t wait to receive more of the story. I’m so excited to be working with them and I can’t wait to see what comes next. Maybe a book signing..? That’d be pretty cool.
